New activation and Sim change to eSIM steps:

  • eSIM must be requested by the authorized person only for any end user under the company
  • The authorized person should call/Email corp@sa.zain.com or the service account manager 
  • The authorized person must mention the eSIM activation in the activation request 
  • The end user must register the fingerprint via this link
  •  A unique QR code will be sent to the end user automatically via email and contact number after the fingerprint
  • In case the QR was not sent, please call 14477 or Email corp@sa.zain.com.

Required information for eSIM for the end user:

  • MSISDN (05********)
  • Alternative contact number 
  • Email 
  • ID type 
  • ID number
     
    • Settings, then Cellular.
    • Select Add cellular plan.
    • Open and point your camera at the QR code on your eSIM activation card until you see installing cellular plan.
    • All set! Your eSIM is now downloaded and installed.
    • Setting, then connection
    • SIM card manager
    • Under eSIM tap on “Add mobile plan”
    • Scan carrier QR Code point your camera at the QR code on your eSIM activation card until you see installing cellular plan.
    • All set! Your eSIM is now downloaded and installed
       
  • Can I replace my current SIM with an eSIM
    Yes it is only available through authorized person.

    Can I use the same rate plan on eSIM as I do for a physical SIM? Can I keep my current rate plan when I move to eSIM?
    Yes! Customer can activate a new line of service for your smartphone’s eSIM, you will have the same plan choices they would for a physical SIM. If customer wants to swap your existing line of service to eSIM, and will keep the same plan.
     
    Does this mean that we have customer information stored somewhere?
    No, Zain does not store personal data. When a customer needs to replace an eSIM, we are re-issue a new eSIM.
     
    What happens if the customer deletes eSIM?
    Since the eSIM contains data, it is possible to delete it, either through the cellular settings of your phone or through a factory reset of the device.
     
    How many eSIMs can the customer store on his device?
    Customer can store more than one eSIM on his device, but you can only use one at a time and the customer can switch.
      
    Can eSIM be used on more than one device?
    The eSIM  can only be used in one device and if the customer wants to switch the device, he must replacement his eSIM .


    Does roaming work on eSIM?
    Yes, the eSIM supports roaming.
