Zain KSA revealed its network’s success in accommodating the rise in telecommunication use and data transfer during the holy month of Ramadan in Makkah and Almadinah. The company had appointed technical groups to perform constant network inspections to ensure its ability to cover the doubled amount of usage in telecommunication services and data transfer during the holy month, in addition to increasing the company’s efforts to welcome Eid Elfitr by implementing its plan to offer the highest quality services to subscribers.
Since the beginning of Ramadan, data transfer usage had increased by 200% compared to the same period last year in Makkah and Almadinah, along with a significant growth in voice calls and international roaming in the two cities, which followed Zain KSA’s numerous offers and packages that cover user needs both locally and while roaming.
The company stated that it had equipped all its abilities to serve the visitors of the Holy Mosque in an effort to provide the latest technologies in communication, and contribute to the services provided by the government which aim to offer all the comforts for Muslim pilgrims from all over the world, including all means of communication that keep them in constant contact with their families at home at all times.
Since its commercial launch in the Kingdom, Zain KSA had sought to participate in every Hajj and Umrah season with new offers and packages that serve the visitors of Makkah and Almadinah, along with its constant efforts to improve the network and offer the latest innovations in the field of telecommunications.
