"Zain KSA" Records a 350% Raise in the use of Broadband during Ramadan

"Zain KSA" has announced to continue intensifying its technology to keep up with the expected increase in the use of mobile communications and data transfer during the last ten days of Ramadan. The company has achieved a remarkable increase during the first week of Ramadan in the use of broadband and data transfer by 350% compared to the same period last year in Macca and Madina. It also recorded an increase in the proportion of voice calls at high rates, in addition to the increase of international roaming users in both Macca and Madina, after presenting many offers and appropriate packages to its subscribers, that are compatible with their requirements domestically and in the case of international roaming. The company has pointed that it has worked on functioning all its capabilities and administrative and technical potentials for continuous months within a program dedicated to serve pilgrims during Umrah season in Ramadan every year, where the company indicated that it formed an integrated team for a long time before the season, in order to develop infrastructure, increase operational efficiency, and provide all the services.
Thecompany said that its technical teams are continually monitoring the network, to ensure its ability to absorb the growth in the communications and broadband data services during the holy month, as part of the company’s plan to achieve the highest customer service quality.
The company explained that it has utilized all its resources to serve the pilgrims who are coming to perform Umrah, in order to provide them with services based on the latest technology. This comes as a contribution to the services provided by the government of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah, which
