Zain KSA Golden Sponsor for Batterjee College Graduation Ceremony
Zain KSA recently participated as a Golden Sponsor for the graduation ceremony of the third batch of Batterjee Medical College graduates. The ceremony was held on campus in Jeddah under the patronage of HRH Prince Mishaal bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, governor of Makkah.
After the ceremony, the company was given an honorary award from Eng. Sobhi Batterjee, chairman of the Board of Trustees, who attended the graduation of more than 200 students of different medical majors.
Sponsoring the event is part of Zain KSA’s constant contributions that support higher education institutions in the Kingdom. It has been part of numerous events and activities held by both public and private universities, and had also launched its own initiatives which support higher education institutions and university students, including the University Development Program, (Zain Pioneers), (Ambitious Youth), and (4G Engineers). This all comes as part of its belief in social responsibility, and the importance of supporting Saudi youth with diverse working experiences through specialized human development programs.
Batterjee Medical College for Science and Technology was founded in 2005 in Jeddah, with a capacity for up to 2000 male and female students in its first stage. It is fully recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and has academic partnerships with local and international universities, such as King Abdulaziz University and Maastricht University, Netherlands. In 2009, BMC was listed in the World Health Organization and in the IMED – FAIMER international recognition list, in addition to receiving the award for best educational project in the Middle East and North Africa in 2010
