Zain KSA Delivers AI-Driven Connectivity Experience to Pilgrims at the Two Holy MosqueSites During Ramadan 1447H

Zain KSA has delivered a reliable, enhanced digital experience for pilgrims at the Two Hholy sites Mosques during Ramadan 1447H, particularly in the last ten days, through an advanced network powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI).

These capabilities optimized network performance and enabled intelligent operations management. The proactive data traffic handling helped maintain service quality and stability, even during peak demand. This ensured that pilgrims’ connectivity and digital requirements were met, improving their overall experience.

Zain KSA recorded a 42% growth in 5G users and a 28% increase in overall data traffic during Ramadan 1447H, compared to last season. Download speeds increased surged by 53%, while  high-quality voice call users quality improved, drivingincreased by a 15% increase in volume.

Zain KSA’s advanced 5G network, offering 100% coverage across the Two Hholy Mosquites, further strengthens its position as a preferred choice for pilgrims, providing a reliable digital ecosystem that withstands heavy use during peak periods.

This aligns with the company’s strategy to leverage its technological investments in support of Saudi Vision 2030, particularly the Pilgrim Experience Program by improving digital readiness and telecommunications infrastructure efficiency. These efforts expand the digital capacity of the holy sitesHajj and Umrah and help accommodate the rapid increase in visitor numbers, in line with the Kingdom’s goal to welcome 30 million pilgrims annually by 2030.
