Zain KSA Allows Balance Recharge through SADAD
Zain KSA recently revealed its latest service which allows subscribers to recharge their prepaid lines via SADAD payment system. The new service makes it easier for subscribers to recharge directly from their bank accounts using ATM machines, bank websites or phone banking.
The company proved its precedence in offering this service which complies with the rules and regulations of Communications and Information Technology Commission. The service is now available starting with six banks, which are Banque Saudi Fransi, Saudi Investment Bank, Samba Financial Group, the National Commercial Bank, Aljazeera Bank and Riyadh Bank. And it will be offered through all local banks within the coming period.
Zain offers many simple ways to recharge lines, among them is using recharge cards, by dialing *141* followed by the 10 digit ID number, then the 14 digit card number followed by # and pressing the dial button. This will automatically charge their lines. Subscribers may also call 1717 and follow the recharge instructions.
In addition, subscribers can transfer their existing balance to any prepaid Zain line, by sending an SMS to 702702 containing (BT followed by the number you wish to transfer to, then the transferred amount in Saudi Riyals). The receiver of this message must send an SMS to 702702 containing (ID followed by his identification number) to be able to use the transferred amount.
SADAD payment is one of the systems of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency. It is designed to be the national Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment (EBPP) service provider for the Kingdom. The core mandate for SADAD is to facilitate and streamline bill payment transactions of end consumers through all bank channels in the Kingdom, including banks, ATM machines, banking phones and online bank sites.
