Zain Saudi Arabia has signed an agreement with Halalah, the financial technology company. This agreement aims to strengthen ties between the two sides in the field of telecommunications and digital payments in ways that serve the interests of the two companies as they work collaboratively to achieve their joint vision. The agreement was signed by Eng. Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al-Deghaither, CEO of Zain Saudi Arabia, and Essam Al Nahdi, CEO of Halalah.

On this occasion, Zain CEO stated that "Zain Saudi Arabia has a distinctive strategy to support digital transformation and IT solutions, and signing this agreement with Halalah," Al-Dughaither added, “is an integral part of Zain Saudi Arabia’s strategy.”

Essam Al Nahdi, Halalah CEO, stated that "Halalah will provide e-wallet services as well as financial technology services to its individual and corporate customers, in line with SAMA's guidelines, and Vision 2030; toward comprehensive digital transformation. Services can be accessed via a digital payment platform, mobile-accessible, that enables sending and receiving payments to individuals and companies easily and securely, thus paving the way toward dispensing with carrying money and bank cards.

Halalah is the first Saudi company in the field of digital payments to become authorized by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA), Halalah provides substantial payment services to the general public and business owners alike.

Halalah's e-platform will allow business owners access to a wide range of customers, as well as facilitate daily purchases and transactions through fast and secure digital financial services.

This agreement comes at a time in which digital information technology is experiencing tremendous growth, particularly in digital financial services. Both companies are working diligently to become pioneers in this field.
