Zain KSA and Huawei celebrated the achievements accomplished by the end of the first phase of Zain’s Network Reload Project, while announcing the launch of the second phase 
Executive management of both companies gathered together in Riyadh, discussing the performance of Zain KSA network and future expectations on the project for the next two phases.
Commenting on this, Eng. Sultan Abdulaziz Al-Deghaither, Network Engineering Senior Director at Zain KSA said “as numbers are showing, we had a very successful phase one for the reload project, in which we were able to increase LTE covered cities to 90 around the kingdom, in addition to covering 14 highway roads linking main cities with high speed connectivity.”
He continued “Data traffic on our network increased significantly by 400%, while the usage of voice services grew by 60%. In addition, the company experienced strong growth in its digitally connected customer base.”
It’s worth mentioning that Zain KSA launched the network reload project in June 2014, were signed with five major international technology companies. The three phases long agreement aims to enhance Zain KSA’s customer experience and to improve and expand Zain’s network capacity, coverage and speed.
