Zain KSA Announced that it had successfully obtained new frequencies from the 3.5 GHz band, which is one of the bands used globally to provide 5G wireless services.

The new frequencies are a further demonstration of Zain KSA’s keenness to expanding its technical and operational capabilities, and the company's dedication toward continuous active contribution to the Saudi ICT sector.

 Zain KSA's new frequencies should help place Saudi Arabia's among the world's most advanced countries in adopting latest technology in the field of ICT services, which is-in turn- a reflection of the Kingdom’s immeasurable enablement of telecom service providers to help them improve quality of their services.

Commenting on the milestone, Eng. Abdulrahman Al-Mufadda, Chief Technology Officer of Zain KSA, said: "We always strive for positive contribution into the overall quality and variety of services within the telecommunications sector.  We have a vibrant market that is growing significantly.  Telecom companies are actively working with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) and the Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) to help elevate the quality of services provided.
