Zain KSA signs MoU with Alfaisal University

Zain KSA has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Alfaisal University to scale up collaboration in the field of development and exchange opportunities and expertise to empower young national talent in the technology sector. The collaboration serves the mutual goal of both parties to contribute to the Kingdom's digital transformation journey. As per the MoU, Zain KSA will provide specialized training programs in various fields for Alfaisal University students. The training will focus on preparing soon-to-be graduates and fresh graduates, enhancing their skills and competencies for employment.

Commenting on the collaboration, Her Royal Highness, Dr. Maha bint Mishari Al Saud, VP for External Relations and Advancement at Alfaisal University, stated: “An ultimate area of focus is preparing students and graduates for their career after completing their theoretical studies. The MoU with Zain KSA is fundamental as part of Alfaisal University’s efforts to align its programs with the job market. This initiative aims to qualify a generation of ambitious and capable talent, with a focus on female students, facilitating their integration into the technology sector. Another goal is to empower the participants to keep pace with the Kingdom's economic development programs, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.”

Zain KSA’s VP for Human Resources, Loluwah Saad Al Nowaiser, said, "We are delighted to partner with Alfaisal University as part of our national talent and capacity-building strategy. Our goal is to qualify the Kingdom’s young women and men and empower them to harness the available job opportunities. This aligns with the strategic objectives of Saudi Vision 2030’s Human Capacity Development Program which focuses on qualifying and developing human capabilities, cultivating skills, and fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship."

Zain KSA recently announced the first graduates of the ‘Evolve’ program, a training and development initiative tailored for fresh graduates. Additionally, the company unveiled the third edition of the Women in Tech (WIT) program, which aims to enhance and develop the skills of women in the sector. With the goal of empowering women and enhancing their technical skills to contribute to a promising digital future, the program guides female university students and recent graduates by providing mentorship through field experts.
