Governor of Riyadh Honors Zain KSA During Shopping Festival Opening
HRH Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh, presented Zain KSA with an honorary award during the opening ceremony of the Riyadh Shopping and Entertainment Festival, organized by the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce, which will go on from 29th of May to 27th June 2014. The award was received by Mr. Saud Al-Bawardi, Chief Operations Officer in Zain KSA, in recognition for the company’s participation as a strategic partner for festival competitions.
Mr. Al-Bawardi stressed the company’s interest in being an active partner to the Riyadh Shopping and Entertainment Festival, for the important role it plays in the Kingdom’s tourism, enabling it to serve the large numbers of summer visitors coming from other regions or countries.
Mr. Al-Bawardi also explained Zain KSA’s active support for domestic tourism through its previous participation in several summer festivals. The company will hold a number of offers and competitions directed specifically for youth in time for the festival activities, and will be posted on its social media accounts.
Zain KSA’s partnership with Riyadh Festival is part of its constant efforts to support tourism events, where it worked on holding official partnerships with several summer festivals in different regions of the Kingdom. This comes from the company’s recognition of the importance of supporting and developing programs that will improve tourism around the Kingdom.
