Zain KSA announced the launch of its WiFi Calling service, making Zain the only operator in the Middle East and North Africa and one of the only 12 carriers in the world to launch this unprecedented initiative. This comes as a valuable addition to the services offered to subscribers on the company’s ever expanding 4G-LTE network.
Zain WiFi Calling service will allow Zain customers roaming anywhere in the world to send and receive calls and SMS at local rates only, without any additional roaming charges. The service is available on select postpaid packages only.
Zain individual and business customers can now exclusively enjoy this service on their iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5s, and iPhone 5c devices. However, users will be required to update to iOS 9.2 to benefit from the service.
