Zain KSA, leading telecom and digital services provider in Saudi Arabia, has won the Gold Award at the second edition of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Awards, organized by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development. The recognition highlights the company’s commitment to sustainable business practices that advance national and social development. 

For the second consecutive year, the CSR Awards celebrate Zain KSA’s strategic approach to sustainable social responsibility and its portfolio of initiatives that empower diverse community segments and enhance quality of life in line with Saudi Vision 2030. Guided by an integrated sustainability strategy, Zain KSA engages key stakeholders to deliver lasting impact, reinforcing its role as a national partner in advancing Saudi Arabia’s socio-economic goals. 

These initiatives have translated into measurable outcomes across several areas. Empowering Generation Youth, Zain KSA has championed training, employment, and entrepreneurship programs to foster national talent in ICT. The company has provided more than 140,000 training opportunities to local youth and participated in nine career fairs, reaching more than 53,000 young men and women. 

Zain KSA has also prioritized digital inclusion, launching initiatives to enable everyone in the Kingdom to access modern digital services. This coincided with the expansion of Zain KSA 5G network to 70 cities. In parallel, the company has stepped up its climate change efforts, adopting eco-friendly solutions and technologies, which resulted in a 7.24% reduction in fuel consumption and a 3,900-kilogram cut in carbon dioxide emissions. More than 5,000 electronic devices were recycled or reused under Zain KSA’s e-waste initiative. In addition, the company-led environmental awareness campaigns engaged more than 860,000 people nationwide.

It highlights the company’s key role in advancing national development, accelerating digital transformation, and reinforcing its position as a key partner in elevating the quality of life for communities across Saudi Arabia.
