Zain Saudi Arabia Launches Free Browsing Service across National Platforms

 

 

In cooperation with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), Zain Saudi Arabia has announced launch of its free browsing service – via site and application- across several national government platforms, to provide permanent access to its customers. These official platforms are marked with (.gov ), such as the Ministry of the Interior (Absher), Citizen Account (C.A.),  the Public Security Directorate (Kollona Amn), the Ministry of Commerce and Investment (Balagh Tijari), the Ministry of Health (Sehha) , the General Directorate of Civil Defense (Fazah), the Saudi Red Crescent Authority (As’efny), and the National Center for Assessment (Qiyas). Services can be accessed by sending (gov) to 959, and will neither consume the customer's internet package, nor affect available balance or incur any fees in post-paid invoicing.

Sultan AbdulAziz Al-Deghaither, Chief Executive Officer of Zain Saudi Arabia, stated that Zain offering free navigation to many national e-platforms comes as part of its strategy to support digital transformation programs that are in line with Vision 2030.

He also added that the launch of this service comes in cooperation with MCIT, emphasizing that Zain Saudi Arabia is actively working to facilitate access to all services to its customers of the company, and that by providing free browsing service to its customers, Zain continues to demonstrate its keen interest in supporting pioneering national initiatives.
