As part of its ongoing support of forums and conferences that underpin SMEs growth, Zain KSA’s was Biban Forum’s technical sponsorship. Such step will effectively contribute to this sector’s growth and to the realization of Vision 2030, which in turn aims at increasing the SMEs contribution to GDP.

The Biban Forum, taking place in Medina, aims to serve and promote the entrepreneurial sector in Saudi Arabia as it is one of the most important components of the SME sector, all of which is receiving immeasurable support of King Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

Eng. Saad Abdelrahman Al-Sadhan, Chief Business Affairs Officer at Zain KSA , reiterated that Zain’s sponsorship of the Biban Forum in Riyadh, reflects the company’s strategy aiming at supporting important conferences and events. He went on to add that “Through this participation, we aim to enrich business services sector in general and SMEs, in specific, especially as we in Zain KSA have introduced a bundle of quality services provided to the former, serving- at the same time- the needs of the latter, and contributing to promote innovation and quality."

Al-Sadhan also pointed out that the Biban Forum is an important platform that introduces new investment opportunities to entrepreneurs. In addition, he highlighted the positive figures, announced by the Ministry of Commerce and Investment regarding the increase in the number of licenses issued to small businesses, are a strong indicator of the limitless support the SME sector has been receiving due to the key role it is tasked to fulfil in Vision 2030.

Al-Sadhan also commended Small & Medium Enterprises General Authority (SMEA (for their support to the SME sector, adding that that setting up Biban forums in many cities of the Kingdom will contribute to the growth of these enterprises, and help create a new wave of investment opportunities.

It is noteworthy that Biban is held at the King Salman International Convention Center.in Medina between 7th and 9th of February. The number of visitors to the forum and the exhibition is expected to exceed 30000.
