Zain KSA Boosts High-Speed Internet Services in the Northern Borders Region

Zain KSA has scaled up high-speed broadband services to many cities, administrative centers and villages in the Northern Border region. This comes in line with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology's efforts to deploy high-speed Internet services across the Kingdom, in order to provide service access to the largest number of citizens and expats.

Eng. Abdullah bin Amer AlSawahah, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, reviewed the implementation of Zain KSA’ Internet services. He also had experimented hands-on with  free government services launched by the company in cooperation with the Ministry recently. That took place during HE’s visit to “Kasib” and “Abu Rawath”; two villages in in the Northern Border region which have received 4G coverage by Zain KSA.

Zain Saudi Arabia stated in a press release that it had been able to provide wireless broadband services in administrative centers and villages through a comprehensive service fund project in the region, bringing high-speed Internet access to more than 23,000 citizens and residents.

Eng. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Muffada, Chief Technology Officer of Zain KSA, said: "It brings us tremendous joy to provide high-speed Internet services to more cities and administrative centers.”  He added “We- at Zain KSA- strive to contribute to the realization of Vision 2030 by being playing an active rule in the enrichment of our national economy, all while meeting the high expectorations of our customers across the Kingdom.
