Zain KSA has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Amazon Web Service (AWS), the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud service provider, to offer its enterprise customers their state-of-the-art cloud services and smart solutions powered by Zain KSA 5G network and AWS through its secure, high-performance cloud platforms. Zain KSA and AWS have successfully completed a trial of 5G private network marking a major milestone in the deployment of cloud-native infrastructure for enterprise customers across the Kingdom.

The announcement was made during Zain KSA’s participation at LEAP2023, the second edition of the global tech event held from February 6 to 9 at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Convention Center under the theme ‘Into New Worlds’.

Through this partnership, Zain KSA will be able to tap into the power of AWS’ cloud-native infrastructure to develop new tools and services that can improve 5G network performance, and security; support the deployment of new applications for enterprise customers.

Commenting on the partnership, Chief Technology Officer at Zain KSA, Eng. Joining LEAP for the second year in a row, under the theme “Tech for Sustainability”, Zain KSA supports the efforts of the event’s organizers, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) and the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones (SAFCSP). Additionally, Zain KSA remains committed to supporting local content and emerging projects in the Saudi ICT sector.
