Zain KSA signs a MoU with the National Center for Mental Health Promotion.

With the goal of raising mental health awareness and achieving a better society

Zain KSA signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Center for Mental Health Promotion in support of its efforts in seeking to advance mental health awareness and achieve a better quality of life, and ultimately accomplish the national goals, pertaining to mental health in the Kingdom.

The MoU sets the roadmap and strategic vision for collaboration between the two entities to prepare and execute social mental health programs including educational campaigns that highlight mental health issues in the ICT sector, which is of interest to Zain KSA’s employees and customers as well as the general public.

Commenting on this agreement, Chief Communication Officer at Zain KSA Mr. Rayan bin Abdullah Al-Turki said “We at Zain KSA give the utmost importance to mental health and consider it a key pillar of a stable and healthy society. Signing this MoU with the National Center for Mental Health Promotion reiterates our keenness to support this crucial issue by raising awareness among employees, subscribers, and members of society to achieve the targets outlined by Saudi Vision 2030 which aims to attain a better quality of life, as well as the United Nations SDG’s (Sustainable Development Goals.) 

On his part, the General Manager at the National Center for Mental Health Promotion Dr. Abdul Hamid bin Abdullah Al Habib said “Establishing alliances with pioneering national entities such as Zain KSA will largely contribute towards achieving the Center’s ambitious goals regarding promoting mental health and creating a better quality of life for the Saudi society, in addition to empowering the positive participation of communities and orienting them to support mental health initiatives, and will also empower targeted segments and develop their skills to attain a comprehensive understanding of mental health in the Kingdom. We also intend to offer enriching educational programs that address those issues, contribute to elevating the quality of mental health services, and develop related prevention programs.”

This agreement follows Zain KSA’s launch of the “BE WELL” initiative which aims to enhance the mental wellbeing of its employees, promote positivity at work, and instill a comfortable atmosphere at the office through focusing on mental health and boosting performance to raise the overall level of productivity.
