Zain KSA in cooperation with Huawei deployed the industry's first LTE+, UMTS + & Wi-Fi Multi-RAT indoor Commercial Network – LampSite, the company announced.
The new system aims to resolve the indoor network problems, providing high capacity & supporting multi technologies including advance third generation, 4th Generation & Wireless internet connection to enhance network performance and improves mobile broadband customer experience.
This project forms an important part of Zain’s network development plans, in line with Reload project the company launched in 2014, aiming towards more expansion and increased efficiency.
LampSite is considered one of the latest and most advanced solutions which Zain was keen to have in order to align with the constructional booming growth in KSA  , as industry estimates state that about 90% of data traffic is generated indoors, especially in "hot zone" environment like Airports, Universities and shopping malls.
