Zain KSA and Jouf University Collaborate to Develop National Smart Campus Model

At LEAP 2026

Zain KSA, the leading provider of digital services, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Jouf University at LEAP 2026 to establish an integrated ecosystem for advanced connectivity and digital innovation across the university. The collaboration will support digital transformation at Jouf University and its ambition to develop a national model for smart campuses.

The MoU focuses on leveraging 5G networks, smart connectivity solutions, and emerging technologies to advance the university’s digital infrastructure and enhance connectivity and digital services. This will enable smart learning applications and virtual experiences, support innovative use cases in areas including the Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence (AI), and advance applied research in next-generation communications technologies.

The collaboration also covers digital capability building through hands-on training and professional workshops in telecommunications, cloud computing, and AI. Students will also have opportunities to undertake graduation projects in partnership with the ICT industry. This strengthens the link between education and real-world applications while preparing students for careers across the Information and Communications Technology sector.
