In line with its commitment to enhance the work environment and achieve wellbeing and satisfaction for its staff, Zain KSA launched the \u201cBE WELL\u201d mental wellness initiative for its employees.<\/p>\n
Through the initiative, and by giving heightened attention to mental health, Zain KSA seeks to establish a positive work environment, instill a safe and comfortable space for employees, and achieve enhanced career productivity. It comes following an unprecedented phase of mental health challenges and a new norm imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, with numerous companies and organizations focusing on mental health awareness in preparation for the coming phase.<\/p>\n
\u201cBE WELL\u201d will encompass a series of activities including granting special access to employees to the globally popular \u201cHeadspace\u201d application, a pioneering application for meditation and mental consciousness, in addition to offering free mental health consultations to staff in cooperation with one of the region\u2019s leading entities to help them overcome exhaustion and issues such as anxiety, sleep and eating disorders, and more.<\/p>\n
On this occasion, Vice President Acting Human Resources at Zain KSA Loluwah Saad AlNowaiser remarked: \u201cWe consider our employees to be our most valuable asset, and their mental wellbeing is among our top priorities, given its crucial role in attaining positive career experiences and developing creative skills. As such, we are keen on continually developing our work environment to be the first choice among young professionals.\u201d<\/p>\n
She added \u201cIt is no secret that the impending changes witnessed by the world are resulting in more work and psychological pressure, with COVID-19 shifting industries and impacting work standards. We have pinpointed the most important mental health challenges that we should focus on through the \u201cBE WELL\u201d initiative, an accomplishment we consider as a key contribution aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 in regards to developing human capital and enhancing the quality of life.\u201d<\/p>\n
The initiative is set to pave the way for a new phase for both Zain KSA and its employees, especially in regards to employee retention and loyalty, as well as elevate motivation, interaction, and the contribution of ideas and projects, all which support the reduction of stress and insomnia, and ultimately boost the mental health of Zain KSA\u2019s teams.<\/p>\n
