Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Zain KSA Launch Digital Mosque Management System , Largest Tech Project of its Kind in Saudi Arabia

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, in partnership with Zain KSA, has launched the Electronic Mosque Affairs System at LEAP 2026. Representing H.E. the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, was Dr. Saud bin Alibi Al-Ghamdi, Undersecretary for Dawah and Guidance. 

The official launch was also attended by Sheikh Issa bin Ahmed Kamli, Undersecretary for Mosque Affairs, Eng. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Thunayan, Undersecretary for Planning and Digital Transformation, and several ministry officials and Zain KSA executives.

The electronic system for mosque management marks a new step in the Ministry’s digital transformation and mosque management automation across Saudi Arabia. 

The partnership reflects the Ministry’s commitment to advancing the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, under the leadership of Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh. By deploying integrated data-driven digital solutions, the Ministry aims to enhance operational efficiency, strengthen governance and reliability, and improve the quality of services provided to mosques and their personnel. 

The new system supports the management of 85,980 mosques across the Kingdom and connects more than 96,000 personnel through a comprehensive suite of digital services spanning asset management, Friday sermons, personnel management, field inspections and maintenance, as well as smart reporting and data analytics. 

The platform has supported more than 3.6 million inspection visits, carried out through a nationwide network of over 5,300 inspectors and supervisors.

Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Thunayan, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance for Planning and Digital Transformation, said: “This partnership marks a milestone in modernizing the Ministry’s operations, with digital transformation playing a central role in improving services provided to mosques and their personnel.”

It enables an advanced ecosystem built on accurate data and automation, helping us deliver services with greater efficiency, professionalism and reliability in line with Saudi Vision 2030.”
