Zain KSA and the National Center for Meteorology (NCM) have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) at LEAP 2026 to strengthen collaboration and explore opportunities to create digital and technology solutions that support meteorological services. The cooperation aims to increase operational efficiency and advance capabilities in weather monitoring, forecasting, and data analytics.
The memorandum covers the exchange of expertise and knowledge, and opportunities to strengthen digital and technology enablers. It will also draw on the capabilities of both organizations across meteorological data, Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP) models, digital infrastructure, and advanced computing to improve data processing and analytics.
The two organizations will explore the use of AI, advanced computing, and next-generation digital solutions to advance meteorological operations, nowcasting and data analytics. They will work to co-develop solutions that enhance the efficiency and reliability of meteorological services.
